Caesarean Section (C-Section)
A C-section is a surgical delivery option used when a natural birth is unsafe, helping protect the health of both mother and babies during difficult or high-risk pregnancies.

Overview
A Caesarean section, or C-section, is a surgical procedure performed to deliver puppies or kittens when natural birth isn't possible or safe for the mother or her offspring. This may be necessary in cases of dystocia (difficult labor), anatomical issues, certain breeds prone to birthing complications, or when labor fails to progress normally.
Our veterinary team is experienced in performing both emergency and planned C-sections. During the procedure, the mother is placed under general anesthesia, and the babies are carefully delivered through an incision in the abdomen and uterus. We work quickly and efficiently to ensure the safety and health of both the mother and her newborns.
After the procedure, we provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring the mother closely and helping ensure her recovery goes smoothly. We also assist with the immediate care of the newborns, making sure they begin nursing and bonding right away.
