• You probably bring your pets in for regular checkups and vaccinations, but did you know that they should also receive regular DENTAL checkups and cleanings for their teeth and gums? 

• During the winter, it is still very important to continue your pet's flea and tick, and heartworm medication!  Virginia has a temperate climate, and many pests survive and come out on mild winter days, which can infect or infest your pet!

• It is also very important to protect your pet from the cold of winter and heat of summer.  Do not leave your pets exposed to the elements outdoors for extended periods of time without plenty of water and shelter, especially in the heat of summer.  Also,  never leave your pet alone in a car - even with the windows open, the temperature inside you car can become dangerous or even deadly in minutes!
